Marlborough Tennis have confirmed that their relationship with RBC Brewin Dolphin has been renewed and now enters a second year.
RBC Brewin Dolphin have long had a major presence in the town and next year will see the thirtieth anniversary of their arrival in Marlborough. Across these years they have been active and supportive of many ventures and activities, as main sponsor of The Jazz Festival for a long period as well as numerous others – and more recently – Marlborough Tennis.
“We were delighted with the way our first year worked out with Marlborough Tennis” said Divisional Director Myles Palmer, “so much so that we were eager to extend this in to a second year.”
The RBC Brewin Dolphin sponsorship extends to cover small, almost unnoticed but vital aspects of the club’s successful activities, such as enabling court windbreaks to be installed which, given their location on Port Hill which is part of The Common are welcome and necessary.
The association has also helped the club deliver a key landscaping project which has smartened up the entrance to the club. In addition, the club’s coaches Neil Watts, Elliott Kami and Hilda Moore are now sporting a full set of RBC Brewin Dolphin branded tennis clothing.
“We are delighted to be involved in these new projects, “said Myles. “The club coaches do a fantastic job coaching not only future Wimbledon prospects but members, new and old, who need a little advice from time to time.”
Andrew Payne, Chair of Marlborough Tennis, added “ we are over the moon with the continued support from RBC Brewin Dolphin who are helping the club go from strength to strength. With a new Clubhouse now taking shape, these are exciting times for Marlborough Tennis.”
