Chilton Foliat Primary School Hosts World Cup Themed Summer Fete

Chilton Foliat Primary School will be hosting a World Cup themed Summer Fete on Saturday 20th June 2026 from 12.00pm to 4.00pm.

Organised by the Friends of Chilton Foliat Primary School, the event promises a fun-filled afternoon for families, friends and members of the local community, with free entry for all.

In keeping with the World Cup theme, football fans of all ages will have the chance to lace up their boots and take part in a 5-a-side football tournament. Other attractions include the ever-popular ‘Soak the Teacher’ (with Mr Stanley bravely volunteering as the target), along with a tombola, lucky dip and raffle. When hunger strikes, visitors can enjoy a BBQ and traditional tearoom, offering refreshments throughout the afternoon.

All proceeds raised will go towards funding much-needed resources and equipment for pupils at Chilton Foliat Primary School.

“The summer fete is always a much-loved event in the school calendar and a fantastic opportunity for families and the wider community to come together,” comments Mrs Katie Turner, Headteacher at Chilton Foliat Primary School. “This year’s World Cup theme will bring lots of energy and excitement, and we are very grateful to the Friends of the school for organising such a joyful and inclusive day.”
