Parkrun is Sport and Health in action. On Saturday (20 June) morning at 9:00am the Marlborough Common parkrun will have a ‘health theme’ – it will be an NHS parkrun – for the second time – where many doctors, nurses, receptionists – all those involved in keeping us healthy – will be running, walking, crawling(!) around the 5km course, all promoting the parkrun movement as medicine. Sport & Health.
Led by the team from The Old School Surgery, Great Bedwyn, who are proud to be a parkrun practice, everyone is welcome to join a community that supports everyone’s efforts. So please come along and try parkrun – you won’t lose but you can only win by becoming more active, and healthy – and meeting many others doing exactly the same. Even Marlborough’s KAMP surgery has a parkrun poster on the wall of the waiting room.
No cost, anyone and everyone can join in but all you have to do is register – and to do so, click here.
