Just bit different – Dorothy House, the Hospice based near to Bradford on Avon are creating their ‘Biggest Tea Party‘ on Friday 24 September to raise both awareness and funds for the Winsley-based Hospice.
They are calling for the whole community to get involved, either by hosting or attending ‘Dorothy’s Biggest Tea Party’ or holding a coffee morning at home, in their workplace, at the gym or even virtually.
Verity Clark, Community and Events Fundraiser at Dorothy House Hospice Care said: “Hosting a tea party or coffee morning is the perfect chance to catch up over a cuppa and a slice of something delicious for a great cause. Support from our local community has never been needed more and getting involved has the power to raise vital funds for those facing a life limiting illness. The official date is 24 September, but anyone can hold their event whenever they like. We hope as many of our community will get involved to help our amazing charity”
