Yet again there is to be a half-hearted attempt at road works.
Why does Marlborough have such an aversion to swift action and minimum period of disruption?
To limit the work time to 29 hours a week of the 168 hours available extends the time to be taken to 5.9 times that otherwise needed.
A loss of 50% trade for one week is far preferable to even a 10% loss a week for 5.9 weeks and the longer it goes on the longer it will take to recover.
