Spring Fête at The Watermill Theatre

Joint CEOs Artistic Director Paul Hart and Executive Director Claire Murray, and the whole team at Newbury’s Watermill Theatre are thrilled to announce that the Watermill’s will be hosting a Spring Fête on May 3, 10am-4pm.
The Spring Fête will offer traditional fete games, including Splat the Rat, a garden trail, a tombola and the Watermill’s famous duck race. There will also be a Mini-Golf course, craft activities, and Vocalize Show Choir will be in attendance performing live music in the afternoon.
Local independent businesses will be in attendance, offering hand-crafted items, tasty treats and gifts. The Café will also be open and serving food and drink.
Storyteller Lizzie Lewis will share the tale of The Ugly Duckling in the theatre, and young people are invited to join our Outreach team for some fun-filled drama games.
This Spring Fête forms part of the Watermill Theatre’s fundraising goals and supports the artistic programme as well as the community outreach programme.
Entrance to the fete is £4 on the door, and £3 in advance, some activities will be charged separately.
