Details of the visit of 100 of the world’s top cyclists to the roads of Wiltshire have been released.
Stage six of the Tour of Britain will see cyclists race through Bradford on Avon, Trowbridge, Devizes and Pewsey along the 67.5km Wiltshire route.
Sir Bradley Wiggins was crowned champion last year and thousands are expected to line the roads through the county following the success of the Tour de France in Britain.
The Tour of Britain starts in Liverpool city centre on September 7 and will arrive in Wiltshire five days later – on Friday, September 12 – as the riders tackle a 205.7km stage from Bath to Hemel Hempstead.
Stage six starts in front of Royal Crescent in Bath before heading into Wiltshire at Lower Stoke at around 10.40am.
Just over an hour later the riders will be approaching Pewsey along the A342 and A345 from Devizes, passing through Charlton and Rushall.
The peloton is expected in the village at around 11.50am. They will head out of the village on the B3087, passing through – or near – Milton Lilbourne, Easton Royal, Burbage, East and West Grafton and Shalbourne.
