On Saturday, 19 October there will be the first big fundraising gig for the St Peter’s Roof Appeal. Some of our area’s young talent is booked to appear – Ogbourne raised but now London-based Ann Liu Cannon will be kicking the event off at 2pm, and her star is very much in the ascendency with her recently launched EP ‘Chalk’, backed by top producer Ethan Johns.
Also on the bill are Viduals, Fall from Ruin, Josh Kumra, Lloyd Edwards and Devizes’ Nothing Rhymes with Orange, closing the day at 7pm.
All in the glorious space, which is St Peter’s.
Line-up:
Ann Liu Cannon | 2pm |
Lloyd Edwards | 3pm |
Josh Kumra | 4pm |
Fall From Ruin | 5pm |
Viduals | 6pm |
Nothing Rhymes With Orange | 7pm |
Profits from this event will support St Peter’s Charitable Trust’s Roof Appeal, helping preserve Marlborough’s landmark community hub. The event is free to enter and will have a fully licensed bar. Donations will be encouraged via our ‘text to donate service’,’ in-house donation point and the St Peter’s website.
What needs to be done? To be able to continue all community activities – lead guttering needs replacing, crumbling stonework needs to be restored and all leaks stopped.
St Peter’s welcome every donation towards the £60,000 required – so that this important 550 year old building can stay in good condition for the generations of Marlborough to come.
