On Sunday – 12 November – Marlborough will, along with the rest of the country be remembering the fallen of conflicts past.
A Remembrance Service will take place in St Mary’s Church but will be preceded by the annual Parade which will mean that the High Street, The Parade and all streets around in that area as far as the London Road mini roundabouts will be closed between 10am and 11:30 am.
For details access the one.network website where all closure and diversion information is displayed.
In summary, East-West traffic will be diverted along George Lane, but for North-South traffic there is no such simple an option. The best option is to avoid Marlborough altogether across those ninety minutes and travel either before or after the period of closure. But the website linked above will provide alternative routes.
Marlborough.news will cover the ceremony and will display a gallery of images afterwards, as every year. click here to visit the report for last year, 2022.
