Marlborough Youth Football Club – voting now open for ‘Player of the Year’

Voting is now open for the Club ‘Player of the Year’. As before there are two categories – one the ‘Club Vote’ where Club coaches and volunteers can cast their vote, and then the ‘Public Vote’, where anyone can cast a vote, so open to the wider community.

Below is the list of the candidates, their team and their nominee. For details of their nominations, why they are being put forward for this major award, click here for the details of all nominees, and why they deserve to be nominated.

Voting Process
Nominations were submitted by MYFC Team Managers and Coaches, recognising players across all age groups who have excelled in any aspect of their football. Such nominations reflect more than just skill; they celebrate how MYFC believe football should be played, e.g. contribution to the game, fair play, teamwork, support for others, and commitment to the values of the Club.

How to vote:

Voting Rules:

  1. One vote per volunteer/person.
  2. Club volunteers to vote in the Club Vote only.
  3. Voting deadline: Midnight on Fri 1 May.
  4. Winners to be announced at MYFC’s end-of-season event.
  5. This will be held at our Elcot Lane Clubhouse on 9/10 May.
  6. There will be one winner for each award, two separate winners overall.
  7. Both winners will be added to the MYFC Clubhouse Honours Board (see photo!)
