Vicky told marlborough.news: “I want to make good quality produce available to as many people as possible. We are not a fancy farm shop, there are no frills as I want to keep costs down. We use minimal packaging and the plastic packaging used on the frozen meat is recyclable.”

The Good Food Garage can be found at Unit 9 on the Salisbury Road Business Park, Pewsey. Vicky’s breakfast range includes handmade muesli, organic oats and cereals, local jams and honey, fresh eggs, oatly milk and non- homogenised milk from a local dairy. Gluten free and dairy free products are available.
For lunch, bread rolls from Marshalls Bakery, Pewsey are filled on the premises and a range of savoury pastries are available from Honesty Bakery in Newbury. There is also a selection of cakes, also from Honesty Bakery, where everything is handmade using local ingredients.
All the meat sold is free range and some of it is organic. Vicky visits the farms and checks out the abattoirs. “It’s all about animal welfare.”
Sausages are handmade on the premises. With a local brewery next door, pork and cider sausages are a speciality. All the pork sold is free range.
As well as a good range of organic vegetables, Vicky also stocks spices for one meal tray bakes. Where possible no palm oil is contained in any of her products.
Vicky has published plenty of recipe ideas for using ingredients from her shop on her Facebook page. The shop is open Monday to Friday from 9am to 4.30pm and on a Saturday from 9am to 12pm. Orders can be made by phoning 01672 620460 or by emailing info@goodfoodgarage.co.uk
