Is this the same Wiltshire Council that cannot recall giving planning permission to Tesco to open on the Marlborough Business park?
Some effect on turnover at Waitrose has probably occurred but my view as one of their a daily shoppers is that the store is as busy and pleasant as ever!!!! Long may it remain so.
Re. parking: charges not unreasonable but surely Wiltshire could have done something for local workers. The £6 could have been reduced to say £4 with a permit displayed. It is no wonder many workers park at the Leisure Centre taking valuable car-parking spaces from Leisure Centre users.
And finally, when will parking meters take cards?? Now that would be progress.
