Local Drop-in Events for World Heritage Site Planning Document
Wiltshire Council is consulting on the draft Setting of the Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites World Heritage Site Supplementary Planning Document [SPD]. The consultation is open until 5pm on Tuesday 17 June at https://consult.wiltshire.gov.uk/kse/
A series of ‘Drop in’ information sites have been arranged, and for Marlborough it will be held in the Library, between 4 and 7pm on Thursday 12 June.
here are a number of ways for residents and organisations in the Stonehenge and Avebury area to find out more about the draft document and consultation:

The purpose of the draft document is to ensure that developments in Wiltshire do not adversely impact the internationally significant monuments and the area they are located in.
The draft document and information on how to make comments is available via theWiltshire Council website at https://consult.wiltshire.gov.uk/kse/ . Hard copies can also be viewed during normal opening hours at County Hall and at Marlborough, Amesbury, Durrington and Salisbury Libraries with comment forms for postal submission.
