At Baydon St. Nicholas Primary School excitement reached fever pitch for pupils as they returned to school after half term. A new adventure playground was there waiting to be discovered.
Friends of Baydon School (FOBS) have been fundraising for the adventure playground for over a year. Events such as the Christmas Grotto, Easter Eggstravaganza, Summer Fayre, Film Nights in pyjamas with popcorn, Party in the Paddock all contributed to raising a whopping £5,000.

“The children have been very excited and we feel we have managed to achieve something that does stretch across the ages.”

The adventure playground has proved so popular this week that each of the five classes at the school have been rationed to one day a week to play on it.
“This is the first phase of making the playground more exciting for the children,” explained Caroline Knighton.
