Saturday (25 November) was Christmas Market Day across the Marlborough area. In Marlborough there was the Christmas Market at The Parade Cinema, with stalls, live music (Phoenix Brass Band and Bluebelles), plenty of mulled wine and mince pies.
At Ramsbury the Brewery and Distillery area was open, with the recently fitted out ‘barn’, or rather now bar and entertainment area full with stalls and plenty of customers. As with The Parade market, live music, but here from the Ramsbury and Aldbourne bands, and fairground rides for kids, brewery tours and also a pop-up cinema for kids showing The Snowman and Father Christmas. And of course the carriage rides by Horse Drawn Occasions.
The Parade:
At The Parade, the marquee over the entrance apron was put to good use. although the weather was fine, there was plenty of space to sit and sup whilst being kept suitably warm by the careffully placed heaters.
