Formal identification of the two men who sadly died following a light aircraft crash near Marlborough on July 13 has now taken place.
They are: Gordon Davis, aged 66, from Gloucester and Paul Gunnell, aged 57, from Guernsey.
An inquest has been opened and adjourned.
The family of Gordon have released the following tribute:
“We are in a state of disbelief as to how two highly experienced pilots found themselves in the position that resulted in this tragedy.
“Our Dad was passionate about flying and has made some amazing trips as a result. The situation we are in is very surreal and it is going to take some time to process.
“Our deepest thoughts and condolences go to the other family at this time. We would appreciate time and space to grieve and come to terms with what has happened.”
