Pupils from Preshute CE Primary represented the school as part of the Marlborough’s VE Day celebrations. On Thursday evening, the pupils joined with the SING! Choir, led by Kim Emery. They performed two songs: It’s VE Day and The Prayer. There were two performances: one at 7:40pm at Marlborough Rugby Club and a later one on The Common in preparation for the beacon lighting.
Ella Palin, teacher and music lead, said, “The children were a credit to the school. They sang beautifully and it was a truly memorable experience. I hope that the children will carry this experience with them forever.”
