Pewsey Vale School to hold virtual Service of Remembrance

Pewsey Vale School invite the community to join them online for a Service of Remembrance on Friday November 6 at 10.45 am. The YouTube link is here.

The service will be led by the Rev. Jennifer Totney and will include poems, prayers and the laying of wreaths as well as the 11 am two minute silence and the Last Post.

All pupils in the school will watch the video of the Service of Remembrance and participate in the two minute silence.

Neil Pritchard, Headteacher, said, “Every year we at Pewsey Vale School host a service of remembrance for our fallen heroes.  We invite many people from within the school and wider community to join us as we mark the occasion by laying wreaths and observing two minutes of silence.

This year we are having to do things differently in line with Covid-19 and current government restrictions.”
