Kennet and Avon Medical Partnership (KAMP) issued the following statement this morning, Tuesday September 14 concerning the status of their planned ‘flu-vaccine’ clinics.
“The main supplier of flu vaccines to NHS England has delayed the delivery date of vaccines by 1-2 weeks. KAMP are still waiting news of the amended delivery date. Unfortunately, along with many other GP practices we have no choice but to cancel the first of our clinics on 18th September. We have contacted patients affected and reassured them that we will be in contact to rearrange their appointment as soon as we can once the supplier has confirmed the new delivery date.
The status of our two ‘flu clinics are as follows:
Saturday 18th September Bouverie Hall – CANCELLED, TO BE REARRANGED.
Saturday 25th September Marlborough Leisure Centre – to go ahead as planned.
KAMP is very sorry to have to cancel the clinic on the 18th September and for any inconvenience caused. There is no need to call the surgery, we will contact anyone affected by these changes to rearrange appointments as soon as we can.”
