Charity supporters raised £650 at a special coffee morning at Rick Stein Marlborough to support patients with severe eating disorders.
The restaurant group hosted the event (March 30), in aid of Cotswold House – the 12-bed specialist inpatient unit run by Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust at Savernake Hospital.
Members of the public had been encouraged by the restaurant to nominate a local charity and Cotswold House was selected after receiving multiple nominations.
The Marlborough Brandt Group’s eleventh annual quiz (April 4) raised £750 towards the 2020 Summer visit by local students to work on projects in the village of Gunjur in The Gambia.
Twelve teams took part in the quiz, which was one by the ‘ChurchMob’ from Savernake Forest – a clear victory on their eleventh attempt.
