On Tuesday October 1st The Arts Society – Pewsey Vale were presented with three lovely tables, created by the Alzheimer’s Support Art Group. The tiles on the table tops were designed and painted by members of the art group, while the tables themselves were purchased second hand and upcycled. This project was made possible by a £250 community grant from The Arts Society.
Jonathan Mansfield, Head of Community Services and Karen Boyce, Community Groups Coordinator, from Alzheimer’s Support, were both on hand to speak about the work they do.
The tables will be on display in the foyer of the Bouverie Hall for a few weeks, after which, they will move to Pewsey Library.
The Alzheimer’s Support Art Group meets weekly in the Bouverie Hall, on Wednesday mornings.
