Sirs
I am writing to ask whether anyone can tell me who gave the builders at the bottom of Granham Hill permission for day after day of one-way traffic lights. It seems they are working on shoring up the bank at the east end of the building. Now the building is almost finished, they can only access that bank from the main road.
Surely Wiltshire Council planners should have made sure, made it mandatory even, they did this work before they started on the building. If not, why not?
As it is, getting from town to Pewsey and back, we have constant delays and there’s traffic chaos at the end of George Lane as the left hand turn up the hill gets blocked.
While I am writing, I’ve just noticed your photo including the entrance to Priory Court off the Salisbury Road. Why did Wiltshire Council allow this new road to be built with no pavement for pedestrians? That’s crazy too. Have the Council run out of planners?
