With regard to your article on what the Police Station site should be developed into – affordable housing is what Marlborough needs not another Community Centre(we have enough community centre provision already aka The Jubilee Centre, St Peter’s Church and The Parade Cinema for example.
If there is not enough profit into developing the site for an independent developer then Wiltshire Police together with Wiltshire County Council need to find a housing association to take up the challenge.
Young people need more affordable housing to stay and help sustain Marlborough and if this aim is realised some thought to helping local teachers/NHS staff might be warranted.
