Dog Poo!
Why oh why do dog owners persist in depositing dog poo bags in the Savernake Forrest when there are clearly No Doggie Waste bins and plenty of signage requesting that dog owners take home with them their dogs waste .
This beautiful forest is free to park, walk, picnic with friends and family. A place that everyone can enjoy is being spoilt by thoughtless dog owners.
I believe it’s quite acceptable to adopt a ‘Stick & Flick’ method of clearing dog waste away from where people walk and children play. Bin it, don’t hang it……. Does dog poo really grow on trees? (Yes, in Savernake!)
Should waste management be introduced into the forest there no doubt will be a charge for parking. We all need to be responsible users of our beautiful free to use Savernake Forest.
