Approx. 20 hours per week. Monday – Friday between 7.30am-9.00am and 3.00pm-6.00pm (exact hours to be confirmed), term time only, plus five Teacher Training days and some flexible holiday work.
Pay: £10.83 – £11.50 per hour
The Governors of Marlborough St. Mary’s CE School are seeking to employ a permanent caretaker to maintain our school site and supervise the cleaning team.
We are seeking to appoint an exceptional, adaptable, enthusiastic, highly motivated, practical and cheerful, well-motivated person.
Duties will include site security, general repairs, cleaning, grounds maintenance, premises management, storage of cleaning materials and security of the buildings and site. You will also be responsible for supervising our team of cleaners and ensuring the inside and outside environment are well maintained and meet Health and Safety requirements.
This job will entail heavy lifting and the appointed applicant should be comfortable in carrying out safety precaution procedures in the event of fire, flood, or breaking and entering. School caretaker experience is desirable but not required.
Good DIY skills, a pride in your work and achievements and good interpersonal skills are also desired.
