The annual season opener Friendly contest between MYFC and Pewsey took place on Saturday 2nd September, in glorious sunshine
Teams from age groups U7 – U15 took part, in some really entertaining and competitive football matches throughout the morning.
Pewsey hosted the event at the Old Hospital Pitches in Pewsey, providing refreshment and BBQ for the gathered players and parents between/after matches.
MYFC ran out eventual winners, and Olivia Hancock from the Angels U11 team, collected the trophy on behalf of MYFC, having according to Team coach, and club representative on the day, made an ‘outstanding contribution ‘.
