Chance for youngsters to shoot hoops over Easter

Youngsters who want to burn off those chocolate eggs can try their hand at basketball in Marlborough.

Wiltshire Council will be running a three-day SlamDunkz basketball camp at St John’s School from Monday to Wednesday, April 7 to 9, for young people aged between eight and 16.

The camp caters for boys and girls of any ability. Sessions run from 10am until 3pm and cost £36 for three days.

Meanwhile, anyone who fancies athletics can join the StarTrack camp, which is being held at Springfields Academy in Calne from Monday to Wednesday, April 14 to 16.

The club is open to children aged between eight and 14, and sessions run from 10am until 3pm and cost £50 for three days.
