Marlborough’s Mayor Councillor Lisa Farrell hosted Mayors from many other Wiltshire Towns this morning (Sunday 24 June) at Marlborough’a Annual Civic Service, this year themed as a celebration of education in Marlborough.
Prior to the service held in St Mary’s Church all of the Wiltshire Town Mayors gathered together on the Town Hall steps for a photo to mark the ocasion.
“It’s to celebrate young people” said Mayor Lisa when explaining the theme for the service. ”It’s a recognition of the transformation of education in Marlborough over the years, from early days until now.” she added.
