
The former St John’s pupil is believed to have lost control of the silver Renault Clio he was driving, which collided with a tree on the Grand Avenue at 5.40am while the party was driving in the direction of Ramsbury from Marlborough.
He sustained major injuries and died at the scene. Three of his four passengers – who were aged between 15 and 19 – were taken to Great Western Hospital in Swindon and John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford.
The passengers, all former St John’s pupils, have been named locally as Sam Parrington, 17-year-old Emily Rodriguez-Martin, Archie Tuxford and Louis Lamb.

Jenna Kent, wrote: “RIP Maxy P. Still cant quite believe it, thoughts are going out to friends and family. Biggest of love to everyone that has been effected by the terrible news.
Kieron Clifford posted: “Such a sad day for many of us, I still can’t get my head around it Max Pearson you were a top lad and always up for a good crack. lifes not fair R.I.P fruitbat we will all miss you! Thoughts go out to your family and wish quick recovery’s for the others involved.”

Police are appealing for information, and anyone who witnessed the incident should call 101 and ask for either Sergeant Barry Cardell or PC Hall, or via Crimestoppers on 0800555111 where information can be left anonymously.
