The second in ‘Marlborough’s month of festivals’ – The Parade Family Festival will be with us again on Saturday of next week – 15 June. The Parade will be closed, a stage will take over the centre of The Parade and from just gone midday to 10pm, the Parade will be ‘rockin’…..
If not ‘rockin’ then delivering a bit of music for everyone. Soul, rock, punk and folk. Many Marlborough businesses will be there to support, the bar will be Ramsbury (as in the Cinema) and a wide range of food will be there to choose from including wood fired pizzas and plenty more.
Lee Matthews has organised the music, he’ll be performing with The Vooz, but the day will be topped off by the excellent Zoots, with their mix of covers and almost everything that we’ve known, loved and grown up with. But all delivered in their supreme style.
Also a chance to look over the fire engines in the Fire Station, as the Station doors will be thrown open and the gleaming red machines will be on display inside, and hopefully staying there for the whole afternoon and evening.
The Parade Cinema’s charity partners – Wiltshire Wildlife Trust and Wiltshire Bobby Van will be there too.
The Cinema would like to thank their partners who have made the ’24 Festival posible and a reality, and they are Ramsbury Brewery, Dan’s at The Crown, Claridge Funeral Services, Carter Jonas, NFU Mutual Marlborough Agency and The White Horse Bookshop.
Lee’s music line-up is:
12:30 – 1:30 Always Fine
2:00 – 3:00 Royal Soul
3:30 – 4:30 The Vooz
5:00 – 6:00 Splat The Rat
6:30 – 7:30 Death is a Girl
8.00 -10pm The Zoots

To wind down, on the Sunday (16 June) the courtyard of the cinema will be taken over by a ‘Chill in the Courtyard’, an afternoon of low key relaxed musical entertainment.
The Parade is open to all, to come and enjoy…….
Next after The Parade Family Festival – MantonFest – Saturday 29 June.
