Earlier this week the Easter Bunny hopped along to Marlborough St Mary’s with an Easter egg for every pupil. This year, he was joined by Mary and Daniel Claridge of Claridge Funeral Service Ltd., who have helped fund Easter and Christmas gifts for the children for several years.
The Friends of Marlborough St Mary’s said, “These Easter gifts are funded by The Friends of Marlborough St Mary’s every year and we are so grateful to Mary and Daniel for donating the funds to buy ALL of the Easter Eggs and alternative gifts this year.
For the past few years Mary and Daniel have financially supported both the Easter Gifts and Christmas Gifts for the children at our school and we are all incredibly grateful to them as a local business for their support. It really does go a long way.
Thank you also to Marlborough Confectioners who helped us with a last minute custom order for some of our dietary requirements this year and to Tesco, Marlborough for sourcing and storing the nearly 400 Easter Eggs.
They went down very well indeed!”
