St Michael’s School, Aldbourne is busy raising £5000 to create a purpose built forest school shelter and equipment to allow the children to spend more time in nature. And they have only a month left in which to try to achieve their target £5K.
Alex Lambert, Governor and Secretary of the PTA, told Marlborough.news, “As a school we are always seeking ways to help our children’s mental health and well-being. This is particularly important with the current challenging circumstances of school closures due to COVID.
We are constantly looking for ways to develop and enhance our outdoor learning experiences in school. We believe that when our children are active that can significantly benefit their mental health.
We would like to update our forest school provision further with a purpose built forest school shelter and equipment.
We are only 25% off our target to achieve this – if you feel able to donate, or if you know anyone else who might feel able to donate to our school then please spread the word far and wide. Click here for more information and to donate.”
