Last Thursday, July 2nd, a new charity shop in the former Mint Velvet shop on the south side of the High Street opened. The shop will stock women’s, men’s and children’s wear as well as bric a brac, books and media.

Izzy Kearley, Marlborough shop manager, told Marlborough.news, “ We will be pleased to accept donations and we are also looking for more volunteers to work in the shop.”
Proceeds from the shop will help fund local mental health services across Wiltshire, Swindon and Gloucestershire delivered by Swindon and Gloucestershire Mind as well as supporting Mind’s national work.

Marlborough’s Mind charity shop will be open 9am-5pm Monday to Saturday. It is hoped that in the future there will also be Sunday opening.
