Students and staff at St John’s Marlborough are celebrating an outstanding set of GCSE results today, marking another year of academic success and collective resilience.
More than 80% of students achieved a pass in both English and Maths, and almost 30% of all grades were at grade 7 or above, reflecting the continued strength of teaching and learning across the school. These results mean that many students will now progress into the St John’s Sixth Form, where they will be supported as they take their next steps toward university, apprenticeships or employment.
This year’s top‑performing students include:
• Henry Mann, achieving nine grade 9s and 11 grades between 9–6
• Arthur Ramsden, achieving eight grade 9s and 11 grades between 9–6
• Elli Bliss, achieving seven grade 9s and nine grades between 9–6

Principal, Alan Henderson, said: “This year has seen another increase in the overall grades for students at St John’s. We are incredibly proud of the ambition, resilience and integrity shown by our hard‑working students and staff who have made this possible once again. We wish all students the very best for their future endeavours and look forward to welcoming most of them back into our Sixth Form in a couple of weeks. Congratulations to all students on their achievements.’
