Mole Digital, which for many years had its offices in Marlborough, has been listed in the 2026 Sunday Times Best Places to Work. The Sunday Times Best Places to Work awards is now in its fourth year. The accolade is largely based on a staff survey managed externally and filled in anonymously. The survey asks staff to comment on, among other things, staff welfare, health and well-being, career development, pay package, enjoyment and motivation.
Mole Digital, which is now based near Bishops Cannings, received the following comments from The Sunday Times. “Creating a great place to work is written into the values of this Devizes digital agency and forms an active part of weekly management meetings. The award-winning company, which specialises in medical and healthcare communications, offers its 16 employees a 4.5 day week but pays them for five and allows them to choose their own working location — remotely, the office or a mixture of both. Weekly internal training is led by directors and peers. Regular bonuses recognise excellent work.”
Nicola Ashton, who founded the company with her husband, Tim, told Marlborough.news, “We’re unbelievably proud to share that Mole has been listed in the 2026 Sunday Times Best Places to Work. Awards for our work always mean a lot to us, but this one is particularly special.
At Mole we’re working hard to build a business where people can do brilliant work, feel developed and inspired, and also feel genuinely trusted, supported and cared for. That kind of culture is built slowly, in hundreds of small everyday moments, by every one of the Mole team – so this recognition really belongs to them.
There’s so much more we want to do – but it’s wonderful to know that it is possible to do exceptional work AND create an exceptional workplace. Huge thanks to all the Moles for everything they do, every day, to make Mole such a wonderful place to work.”
