Over the four days of the Platinum Jubilee weekend celebrations, St Peter’s marked this historical event with a Festival of Flags and Flowers and Tower tours.
St Peter’s is renowned for its panoply of flags which are flown from the church tower on appropriate days of the year, and this was an opportunity for all visitors you to see twenty five of them hanging within the church whilst below each flag is an information synopsis. Throughout the church there were also stunning summer floral displays. A feast for the eyes in the magnificent surroundings of this 560-year-old building.
