Even though ten or more letters were received by the Returning Officer for the vacant ‘East’ ward seat, no nominations were received by the deadline – yesterday at 16:00.
A new election will be held within 35 working days of Thursday 13 April 2023 on a date to be decided by the Returning Officer. Details of how and when to apply will be published later once announced.

Regarding the ‘West’ ward, this will decided by a process of ‘co-option’, where nominated candidate(s) are selected by a panel of current Councillors.
