Want to learn how to take photographs that’ll be the envy of your family and friends?
Want to do it locally, amongst like-minded professionals and enthusiasts that share a love of photography, in a relaxed and fun way?
Then Marlborough.Photography is just for you.
Marlborough.Photography is a newly formed club of enthusiasts and professionals who share a love for photography.
There won’t be any competitions… but there will be field trips, talks by professional photographers willing to share their passion and knowledge, jargon-free workshops exploding photography misunderstandings, plus informative teach-ins from how to set up your camera to photo editing tips and much more.
Bob Holman, founder (together with his wife Nikki) of The Food Gallery in Marlborough, who came up with the idea, says “I’ve found photography again, after an absence of over 35 years! But I don’t own a camera. All my photographs are taken and edited on my iPhone. It’s always with me, so I can shoot anything, anytime, anywhere. And with the launch of Instagram, I’ve found a significant number of other local photographers of a like mind. After floating this idea to them there was enough momentum to take this idea forward.”
