Tickets for Marlborough LitFest 2021, 30 September – 3 October can be purchased from today, September 2. Tickets are available in a number of ways: from the website, click here (no booking fee, postage charged at £1.80 if required); by telephone, 0333 666 3366 Mon – Fri 9am – 7pm; Sat 9am – 5pm (through TicketSource £1.80 telephone booking fee applies); in person from The White Horse Bookshop, 136 High Street, Marlborough, Mon – Sat 9.30am – 5pm, Sun 11am – 4pm and from the Town Hall box Office over the festival weekend from 6.30pm Friday October 1. Please note that the bookshop cannot take orders by telephone.
Marlborough LitFest will be in a hybrid live/online format with a varied programme of events for different ages and genres, including fiction, non-fiction and poetry events, its 10th Golding Speaker and the annual Big Town Read.
The 2021 line-up includes: Elif Shafak, Colm Tóibín, Sathnam Sanghera, Mick Herron, Jonathon Porritt and Gill Hornby, covering themes from memoir, nature, climate change, politics and history, and culminating in a festival finale from LitFest patron, Sir Simon Russell Beale.
