At last night’s meeting of the Marlborough Town Council Planning Committee it was confirmed that the Referendum for the acceptance of the Marlborough Area Neighbourhood Plan will be on Thursday 11 August.
Polling Stations will be set up and opened in all the normal locations – details will be circulated later for confirmation – but this will be the opportunity for the residents of Marlborough to approve – say ‘Yes’ or ‘No’ to the Plan. A ‘Binary’ choice.
Progress of the Marlborough Area Neighbourhood Plan is shown on the Town Council’s main ‘Neighbourhood Plan’ home page, but details of the Plan itself, with links to questions, answers and a wide range of supportive documentation can be found on the Town Council website and accessed by clicking here.
