Major crash on the Burbage road near the top of Postern Hill – elderly woman seriously injured – Police appeal for witnesses and DashCam footage – Update

A woman is in a life threatening condition following a multi-vehicle collision on the A346 Salisbury Road, just beyond Postern Hill at the entrance to Brown’s Farm. Police are appealing for witnesses and any DashCam footage.

At around 1.15pm yesterday (21 January) a lorry travelling out of Marlborough and in the Burbage direction stopped to turn right at Brown’s Farm. It is believed that three vehicles slowed behind it, before a Kia Sorento collided with the van at the back of the line. The Kia crossed the road and collided with an oncoming vehicle; a Kia Stonic.

The driver and front passenger of the Kia Stonic, both aged in their 70s, were taken to hospital to be treated for serious injuries.

The driver of the Kia Sorento was also treated for minor injuries.
