Love Marlborough Kids Meals is one of thirty six charities across the country that were awarded £1,000 donated by the Fine & Country Foundation as part of their Autumn Grants Scheme this year.
Nominated by the local area’s team of Fine & Country which covers Marlborough, Devizes and Newbury as well, Love Marlborough Kids Meals was been selected to receive funding to ‘continue its vital work supporting vulnerable individuals in the community’.
Edward Taylor from Fine & Country Marlborough, Devizes & Newbury said: “We are overjoyed that our nominated charity has been selected for this grant. Their work within the local community is essential, and this funding will help them continue to provide crucial support to those who rely on their services.”
In the ten years since its inception in 2014 The Fine & Country Foundation has awarded over £1m to charities. And as the Foundation notes this bi-annual grant scheme, held in Spring and Autumn each year, provides a lifeline to charities tackling the issues of homelessness and poverty. With the recent grants, The Foundation continues its commitment to empowering organisations across the UK and internationally to make a tangible difference in the lives of those most in need.
“The Fine & Country Foundation’s dedication to tackling homelessness and poverty is more important than ever,” added Edward Taylor. “For charities like Love Marlborough Kids Meals, this grant is more than financial support – it is a vote of confidence in the vital work they do. We are proud to play a role in helping them continue their efforts.”
Catherine Williams of Love Marlborough Kids Meals told Marlborough.news: “Kids Meals are incredibly grateful for the consistent support that Fine and Country have provided us with over the past few years. They take an interest in what we do, so there is a sense of support from within the community. The funds they donate go direct to providing hot meals for families who struggle from week-to-week in Marlborough and surrounding villages. This means we can continue to help meet need and know that others are supporting us to do so.”
