“Where do we go from here?” was the question posed in opening line of last year’s report announcing the town’s success in the Royal Horticultural Society ‘South West in Bloom’ competition. The answer is ‘Double Gold’, as Marlborough has achieved this ultimate level for the second year in succession.
It’s a massive achievement for the town and all concerned. Not only has the main entry been awarded the top accolade, we hear that eight of the ‘It’s Your Neighbourhood’ entries have been recognised as being ‘Outstanding’ as well, to add to the overall level of success for the town’s entries
“We are delighted that Gold is coming home again” announced Town Clerk, Shelley Parker. We will provide further information and reaction to the achievement as and when we hear more.
