Marlborough Rugby Club are offering key workers the opportunity to come and take away some draught beer, lager and cider from their Clubhouse in Frees Avenue on Sunday afternoon (tomorrow, 22 March).
Following the Government directive the Club is now left with a large quantity of drink on draught so rather than let this go to waste they have decided to offer it for free to key workers in the Marlborough area i.e. NHS, Tesco and Waitrose staff. They will ask for proof of status.
The Club stresses that this will be takeaway only and ask anyone taking up this offer to bring their own containers (large plastic milk bottle would be ideal).
The Club House will be open on Sunday from 1:30pm until late afternoon or until stocks run out.
