
The first three periods to be announced are:
- Monday, 12 March to Thursday, 15 March
- Monday, 23 April to Thursday, 26 April
- Monday, 4 June to Thursday, 7 June
High-speed services from London to the West Country will continue to run – using a different route. But some of these trains will leave from Paddington and Reading at times that are different from normal timetables as the re-routed journeys will take up to 30 minutes longer.
During the closure periods, passengers from stations between Bedwyn and Newbury will have replacement buses and coaches taking them to Newbury and then on to Reading to connect to train services.
Passengers from Pewsey travelling to Reading and Padidngton will have replacement buses and coaches to take them to Swindon for connecting trains.
