At this difficult time when most of us are confined to our homes staying healthy and occupied is important for us all. Marlborough College recognised this and have created a ‘Wellbeing Resources’ area on their website, where everyone – associated with The College or not – can find ideas, advice and inspiration to help deal with this ‘new everyday’.
This ‘Wellbeing Resources’ area is designed to represent a number of opportunities – to connect more strongly with families and those closest; to keep active, learn new things and set new individual goals; and to become more aware of those around in the community who need help. In doing this we will be helping ourselves stay mentally and physically healthy by following the five pathways to wellbeing identified on the website.
Jackie Jordan, Director of Marketing and Communications at Marlborough College explained: “We felt this would be a good way for us to play a part at this time when people have to stay at home and may be lacking in ways to stay occupied and healthy. As a full boarding school we are experienced in providing academic, co-curricular, spiritual and pastoral resources for our pupils which match well to the five ways to wellbeing. This got us thinking that we could use our resources to provide a wellbeing hub for anyone to use”
It’s not a static area, it will evolve as new ideas will be added every week. The ‘Wellbeing Resources’ area can be accessed via the following web address: https://www.marlboroughcollege.org/wellbeingresources/
