Broadband, or a decent broadband speed isn’t a given in many parts of our area. It has improved over the years but as more of what we need for everyday life goes online then being able to have an adequate Broadbnd connection becomes ever more important.
On Tuesday of next week – 3 August at 5:30pm – at the Conservative Club in Long Lane, Devizes our local MR, Danny Kruger will be hosting a long-awaited summit involving representatives from BT OpenReach, Wiltshire County Council, BT Group and other providers to discuss and give their ideas on the efforts / solutions to improve rural broadband and take / respond to questions raised by members of the audience – those present and those online.
If you can’t make it, the session will be live streamed but you will need to contact Danny and his team beforehand by e-mail at: danny.kruger.mp@parliament.uk to register and get the livestream link set up.
More about this session can be found on Danny’s website.
