It’s the final day of the final day at the Concert at the Kings for Cancer in All Cannings.
The fundraiser at the Kings Arms is in its final year. And locals have packed the field to see at stellar line up perform.
“The atmosphere, the music and the cause is just terrific,” said Amanda visiting from Plymouth.
Billy Ocean topped the bill on on the Saturday – preceded by an incredibly powerful performance from Steve Harley and Cockney Rebel.
But the day went to The Sweet – with local band member and founder of the concert Andy Scott emotionally thanking the crowd for their support in raising hundreds of thousands of pounds for cancer charities since starting the annual event in 2012.
“All good things come to an end,” he told the cheering crowd. “And how good has it been.”
Capacity crowds packed in on Sunday, which opened with local Marlborough band The Humdingers.then with 10cc and and all stars band featuring Midge Ure on the line up later on.
And the punters loved it, and it didn’t rain…..
