People with sensory impairments can try out a range of equipment designed to make their lives easier at a new resource centre in Devizes, which opens tomorrow (Tuesday).
Talking watches and microwaves, pager systems for doorbells and easy-to-see radios are some of the equipment people with hearing or visual impairments can try out at the Wiltshire Council-run centre.
The Hearing and Vision Team Resource centre will be opening at Little Bears, Estcourt Crescent, Devizes, from 10am to 4pm every Tuesday and Thursday initially.
Anyone aged over 18 can come along with family and friends to browse the equipment, try it out and find out where it can be purchased.
There will also be information available on local and national support services.
