Marlborough design studio, Silverless, have just appointed a new Chief Operating Office, Bjorn Annegarn to develop the business’ growth strategy.
Bjorn’s extensive experience in advertising, design and technology, and roles with various luxury safari lodges in South Africa and Tanzania make him well suited to Silverless’ travel and tourism focus, both locally and in Africa. He will be responsible for developing and managing the studio’s growing client base while ensuring creativity, cutting-edge brand execution and excellent customer relations remain the mainstay of the company.
Excited to be building on his previous experience within various industries, Bjorn said, “I am passionate about helping companies leverage technology to provide excellent client experience. I
look forward to fostering relationships with our key clients and developing the talent pipeline and systems required to realise our vision of the future.”
Niels van Gijn, founder and CEO of Silverless adds, “This is such an exciting time for Silverless. We are exploding after the challenges of the last few years and we are looking forward to the energy,
experience and narrative Bjorn brings to our team. Bjorn’s background is uncannily well-suited to our business – marrying deep understanding of hospitality and management at the very highest level
with the logistical, technological and creative know-how that comes from running design agencies.”
Silverless, founded in 2009, grew from Niels’ and his wife Emma’s passion for design and photography and his desire to deliver simple, clear, elegant design without ego. Projects are driven through the lens of a client’s business objectives by a highly experienced in-house team who put data, storytelling and technology to their most effective use.
